Many parts have a core charge. Cores must be returned in a rebuildable condition within 30 days of original purchase: No cracks through the frames, no excessive missing fins. etc. Please inspect your core, especially if you are repairing a previously wrecked or damaged vehicle. Please inspect the core if it has been dropped or mishandled. Core must be of like kind to what was ordered. Returning damaged or different cores might have less value than shipping paid to receive it.
You can cancel your order at anytime before shipping for a full refund.Once shipped:
Please fill out form below for return to receive an RA#. Returns will not be accepted without Return Authorization. We may ask for additional information needed for catalog correction or needed catalog information before we can issue an RMA. Orders must be returned back to us by the 30th day from the day you ordered it for refund. We take great care to process your order. Any claim for damage return or exchange must be made within one week (7) days of receiving for allowing shipping claim process.
Defective and damaged products
*Items sent at Maniac Motors Error will be returned at Maniac Motors expense
*Items lost or damaged in shipping will be resent at Maniac Motors expense
*Credit for mis-shipped, damaged, or defective items will not be given until the item has been returned and inspected.
*Items that are defective will be replaced at no additional charge.
*Damages received during shipping must be notified to Maniac Motors within 7 days of package receipt. After this time frame, Maniac Motors will not be held responsible for damages not reported to Maniac Motors or the shipping company.
*Return authorizations for defective/damaged product seeking replacement will not require payment. However, a refundable deposit may be required and if the defective/damaged product is not returned within thirty (30) days from the issuance of the return authorization, payment will be taken for the replacement product.
Any defective product not returned back to Maniac Motors within 30 days from return authorization issuance will not receive any credit.
Please diagnose your vehicle prior to purchase. Many parts are returned because the vehicle was diagnosed after purchase and something else found faulty. To keep the price of our quality parts down, we charge 10% & original shipping cost for returned parts. If you need to return the unit you ordered please contact us by phone or email with reason for return. Shipping cost for return is your responsibility and using a prepaid 'core' return label to return for refund will result in that expense being deducted from your refund. Mirrors have the highest rate of new return. Mirrors are Aftermarket unless stated OEM, and can have slight cosmetic differences from original mirrors. Please only order mirrors that have the correct options. For example: Do not order mirrors with heated option when you do not have heated option. The plugs can be different and will not work.Component Parts:
Ordering Component parts for your own rebuild project such as Regulator, Rectifier, Armature, Bearings, Solenoid, Drive, Brushes can not be returned for refund. In the rare event there is a defective component part it may be exchanged. If you order a component part that was verified by the description to fit, but does not, please attach picture(s) of your rebuilding unit, with view of OEM tag (manufacturer's number) and view of component to be replaced with your return request.
Before Your Order:
Please confirm your correct part order prior to purchase. If there are different engine sizes options, split production dates, or other options etc., please verify which one before ordering. Many details can be hard to determine, but needed to make a correct order. If you need more information about restocking charges and the reason, please call 214-202-3250. If you are unsure that the order or diagnosis is correct, it might be best to let the installation shop handle the purchase for you.Due to Production and Engineering of Performance Alternators there will be a 20% plus shipping charges charged on returns and cancellations of High Output Performance Alternators.
We do not provide labels to return parts. Many claims of defective part upon installation are not due to defect. These parts are returned in perfect working order. But failure is with diagnosis. Technicians can usually guess problems correctly based on symptoms and their experience. But due to the nature of the guessed diagnosis and sometime lack of proper trouble shooting we do not offer labels to return parts that are claimed to ‘not fix the car’.
